This year’s International Women’s Day reminded us of an important truth: empowering girls means addressing their needs holistically.
In partnership with Davis & Shirtliff, Bethel Network combined our water initiatives with the distribution of sanitary pads to vulnerable girls.
Why This Matters
- Access to clean water and menstrual dignity go hand in hand.
- Girls who can manage their periods with dignity are more confident and less likely to miss school.
- Community members are reminded that gender equality requires comprehensive solutions.
It wasn’t just a distribution exercise—it was a statement: every girl deserves dignity, health, and opportunity.
